Welcome to the Historic Hotel Grill

The Historic "Hotel Grill" was opened, in 1895 by a local entrepreneur, John Felder Sr, under the name "Hotel Felder".  During that time the building housed 37 hotel rooms and a bar.  In the late 1890's Washington Blvd. (now West Jefferson) was a regular stage-coach stop and later, a stop for one of the first street cars.

Over the years the hotel's name has been changed from the original name to "Trenton Hotel" to the "Grand" and lastly the current name "the Hotel Grill".  Renovations have taken place over the years, turning this historical site into a fine dining restaurant and banquet facility.  The bar has been kept in its original condition, and to this day is one of the oldest standing bars around.
